Direct mail marketing, trade book and magazine editing.
Content management, feature writing, scriptwriting, and teaching.
As the former managing editor of Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, I've experience in print production, book and magazine marketing, typography, and design.
I created the curriculum for IFP Minnesota’s first-ever writers’ course: “Elements of Screenwriting,” and had a rewarding semester as adjunct faculty member in the Cinema department at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Co-chaired the Screenwriters’ Workshop’s long-running “Script Night” reading series until 2005. At IFP-MN, MCTC and the Minnesota Screenwriters Workshop, I covered panel discussions with local and national filmmakers.
A longtime diarist and blogger, my strengths lie in the written word—be it headlines, copywriting or copyediting, content development, branding and product marketing. But I've said that already.
I love dynamic, collaborative and creative team environments and thrive on humor, equanimity, and great recipes.
